Acne is a common skin condition that occurs when pores become clogged with oil, dead skin cells, and bacteria, leading to blackheads, whiteheads, pimples, or cysts. Topical treatments play a key role in management and may include retinoids to increase skin turnover, antibiotics or anti-inflammatory agents to reduce bacteria and redness, and ingredients like benzoyl peroxide or azelaic acid to keep pores clear.
Melasma is a skin condition marked by dark, patchy discoloration on the face, often triggered by sun exposure or hormonal changes. While harmless, it can cause cosmetic concerns. Topical treatments are the mainstay of therapy and typically include hydroquinone, tretinoin, azelaic acid, and corticosteroids, often combined for greater effectiveness. Consistent sunscreen use is essential to prevent worsening pigmentation.
Anti-Aging Treatments target fine lines, wrinkles, uneven skin tone, and texture changes caused by sun exposure and natural collagen breakdown. Topical options include retinoids to boost collagen and cell turnover, antioxidants such as vitamin C (ascorbic acid) to protect against free radical damage, niacinamide to improve tone and barrier function, and peptides or moisturizers to enhance hydration and skin firmness.

Restored Wellness acne treatment is available to all adults 18 + in the states where Restored Wellness operates, once a Restored Wellness medical provider reviews your assessment and determines that we can safely and appropriately treat you via tele-health. We cannot treat people who are currently pregnant because some of the medications we prescribed are contraindicated for pregnancy.
Restored Wellness does not prescribe isotretinoin or Accutane, because this medication requires more monitoring than we can provide via tele-health at this time. We treat mild and moderate acne, but if we determine that a patient has severe acne we may refer the patient to in-person care.
No. Because some of the medications we prescribe are not or may not be safe for an unborn or breastfed baby. We do not provide acne treatment to people who are pregnant, breastfeeding, or trying to get pregnant at this time.
Restored Wellness does not accept any insurance. All services are self pay only.
Acne is caused by clogged pores due to excess oil, dead skin cells, and bacteria. Hormonal changes, stress, diet, and certain medications can also contribute.
At Restored Wellness, we look at the root causes so we can treat more than just the surface.
Treatments range from topical creams and cleansers to oral medications, chemical peels, and advanced therapies like microneedling or laser treatments. The right option depends on the severity and type of acne.
Restored Wellness will be focusing on Topical Treatment!
Results vary, but most people begin noticing improvement within 4–8 weeks. Some treatments may take longer for full results.
With consistent care, your skin continues to improve and heal.

- Absolutely. We carefully select products and treatments that match your skin type and sensitivity level to ensure gentle but effective results.
Some mild acne can be managed with over-the-counter products, but moderate to severe acne often requires prescription-strength medications or professional treatments.
Yes. While diet isn’t the sole cause, foods high in sugar or dairy may trigger breakouts in some individuals. Stress, lack of sleep, and poor skincare habits can also worsen acne.
Consistent skincare and, in some cases, ongoing maintenance treatments can help prevent recurrence. Our providers create long-term plans to keep your skin clear.
Acne can affect teens, young adults, and even people in their 30s–40s. Treatment can begin as soon as breakouts become persistent or bothersome.
Restored Wellness treats patients 18 +.
Our specialists evaluate your skin, acne severity, and medical history to recommend a personalized treatment plan designed to achieve the best results.

Melasma is a common skin condition that causes dark, discolored patches — often on the face, cheeks, forehead, or upper lip. It’s usually linked to sun exposure, hormones, or genetics.
Melasma can be triggered by sun exposure, pregnancy, hormonal changes, birth control, and even stress. At Restored Wellness, we focus on identifying your triggers so we can treat and manage melasma effectively.
We offer customized treatment options, including medical-grade skincare, topical prescriptions, Every treatment plan is designed to safely fade pigmentation and restore an even skin tone.
While melasma isn’t always permanent, it can be stubborn. The good news is that with the right treatment and maintenance, melasma can be significantly lightened and controlled.
Most patients notice improvement within 6–12 weeks, though deeper pigmentation may take longer. Consistency and sun protection are key to achieving and maintaining results.
These medications are not covered by insurance and are only available with out-of-pocket self pay pricing.
Both men and women 18+ who are not pregnant can request melasma treatment if they live in a state where Restored Wellness operates. Your Restored Wellness medical provider will assess whether we can safely and appropriately treat your symptoms via tele-health.
Yes. At Restored Wellness, we carefully tailor treatments to your skin type and sensitivity to ensure safety and effectiveness for every patient.
Yes, melasma can reappear, especially with sun exposure or hormonal changes. That’s why we provide long-term strategies — like sunscreen, skincare routines, and maintenance treatments — to help you keep your results.
No. While UV exposure is a major factor, melasma can also be triggered by hormones, heat, genetics, and even stress. Protecting your skin from the sun remains one of the most important steps in management.
Melasma is more common in women, especially during pregnancy or while taking hormonal birth control, but it can affect anyone. Men can develop melasma as well.
Our team will assess your skin, lifestyle, and medical history to design a personalized plan that fits your needs. At Restored Wellness, we focus on safe, lasting results that help you feel confident in your skin.

Topical anti-aging treatments are medical-grade skincare products — such as creams, serums, and retinoids — that help reduce fine lines, wrinkles, dark spots, and uneven skin tone. They work by nourishing, protecting, and repairing the skin over time.
All prices listed on the site are all inclusive of the Medication and Provider review. No additional fees/cost.
If you choose Tretinoin or Altreno to be sent to your local pharmacy, the cost is $20 for the Provider review fee plus the cost of the medication at your local pharmacy.
These medications are not covered by insurance and are only available with out-of-pocket self pay pricing.
Adults 18 and older, of any gender, who live in a state where Restored Wellness is available can request anti-aging treatment through the platform. While we call this an “anti-aging” treatment, retinoids can also benefit patients in their 20s and 30s. Early signs of photo-aging—skin damage caused by sun exposure—may appear as soon as your 20s. Beginning retinoid therapy at that stage, alongside consistent sun protection, can help repair existing damage and prevent future issues. For people in their 40s and beyond who already show more noticeable signs of photo-aging, topical retinoids remain highly effective. Safe for long-term use, retinoids work best when used consistently over many years. It’s important to note that anyone who is pregnant or planning pregnancy should avoid topical retinoids, whether prescription or over-the-counter.
They contain clinically proven ingredients like retinol, peptides, antioxidants, and growth factors that boost collagen production, improve skin texture, and fight free-radical damage. Consistent use is key to seeing results.
Most patients see initial changes in 4–8 weeks, such as smoother skin and a brighter tone. More significant results, like reduced wrinkles and firmer skin, typically appear after 3–6 months of regular use.
Yes. At Restored Wellness, we customize your regimen to your unique skin type and sensitivity. We carefully select products that balance effectiveness with gentleness to avoid irritation.
Over-the-counter products may help with hydration and mild skin concerns, but medical-grade topicals have higher concentrations of active ingredients, making them more effective for noticeable anti-aging results.
Absolutely. Topical treatments enhance and extend the results of procedures like microneedling, chemical peels, or injectables. They also help maintain healthy, youthful skin long-term.
For best results, anti-aging skincare should become part of your daily routine. Just like sunscreen, consistent use helps slow aging and protect your investment in your skin.
Some topicals, especially retinoids, may cause mild dryness, flaking, or redness at first. These effects usually improve as your skin adjusts. Our providers guide you through proper use to minimize irritation.
Topicals improve skin quality and slow signs of aging, but they can’t replace the effects of injectables or fillers. For many patients, the best approach is combining topicals with in-office treatments.
At Restored Wellness, we’ll assess your skin health, goals, and sensitivities to choose a personalized, step-by-step skincare plan that helps you achieve youthful, glowing results.
