At Restored Wellness, we look at the root causes so we can treat more than just the surface.
Treatments range from topical creams and cleansers to oral medications, chemical peels, and advanced therapies like microneedling or laser treatments. The right option depends on the severity and type of acne.
Restored Wellness will be focusing on Topical Treatment!

Some mild acne can be managed with over-the-counter products, but moderate to severe acne often requires prescription-strength medications or professional treatments.
Yes. While diet isn’t the sole cause, foods high in sugar or dairy may trigger breakouts in some individuals. Stress, lack of sleep, and poor skincare habits can also worsen acne.
Consistent skincare and, in some cases, ongoing maintenance treatments can help prevent recurrence. Our providers create long-term plans to keep your skin clear.
Acne can affect teens, young adults, and even people in their 30s–40s. Treatment can begin as soon as breakouts become persistent or bothersome.

Melasma is a common skin condition that causes dark, discolored patches — often on the face, cheeks, forehead, or upper lip. It’s usually linked to sun exposure, hormones, or genetics.

We offer customized treatment options, including medical-grade skincare, topical prescriptions, Every treatment plan is designed to safely fade pigmentation and restore an even skin tone.
While melasma isn’t always permanent, it can be stubborn. The good news is that with the right treatment and maintenance, melasma can be significantly lightened and controlled.
Most patients notice improvement within 6–12 weeks, though deeper pigmentation may take longer. Consistency and sun protection are key to achieving and maintaining results.
These medications are not covered by insurance and are only available with out-of-pocket self pay pricing.
Both men and women 18+ who are not pregnant can request melasma treatment if they live in a state where Restored Wellness operates. Your Restored Wellness medical provider will assess whether we can safely and appropriately treat your symptoms via tele-health.

Topical anti-aging treatments are medical-grade skincare products — such as creams, serums, and retinoids — that help reduce fine lines, wrinkles, dark spots, and uneven skin tone. They work by nourishing, protecting, and repairing the skin over time.
All prices listed on the site are all inclusive of the Medication and Provider review. No additional fees/cost.
If you choose Tretinoin or Altreno to be sent to your local pharmacy, the cost is $20 for the Provider review fee plus the cost of the medication at your local pharmacy.
These medications are not covered by insurance and are only available with out-of-pocket self pay pricing.
Adults 18 and older, of any gender, who live in a state where Restored Wellness is available can request anti-aging treatment through the platform. While we call this an “anti-aging” treatment, retinoids can also benefit patients in their 20s and 30s. Early signs of photo-aging—skin damage caused by sun exposure—may appear as soon as your 20s. Beginning retinoid therapy at that stage, alongside consistent sun protection, can help repair existing damage and prevent future issues. For people in their 40s and beyond who already show more noticeable signs of photo-aging, topical retinoids remain highly effective. Safe for long-term use, retinoids work best when used consistently over many years. It’s important to note that anyone who is pregnant or planning pregnancy should avoid topical retinoids, whether prescription or over-the-counter.
They contain clinically proven ingredients like retinol, peptides, antioxidants, and growth factors that boost collagen production, improve skin texture, and fight free-radical damage. Consistent use is key to seeing results.
Most patients see initial changes in 4–8 weeks, such as smoother skin and a brighter tone. More significant results, like reduced wrinkles and firmer skin, typically appear after 3–6 months of regular use.
Yes. At Restored Wellness, we customize your regimen to your unique skin type and sensitivity. We carefully select products that balance effectiveness with gentleness to avoid irritation.
Over-the-counter products may help with hydration and mild skin concerns, but medical-grade topicals have higher concentrations of active ingredients, making them more effective for noticeable anti-aging results.
Absolutely. Topical treatments enhance and extend the results of procedures like microneedling, chemical peels, or injectables. They also help maintain healthy, youthful skin long-term.
For best results, anti-aging skincare should become part of your daily routine. Just like sunscreen, consistent use helps slow aging and protect your investment in your skin.
Some topicals, especially retinoids, may cause mild dryness, flaking, or redness at first. These effects usually improve as your skin adjusts. Our providers guide you through proper use to minimize irritation.
Topicals improve skin quality and slow signs of aging, but they can’t replace the effects of injectables or fillers. For many patients, the best approach is combining topicals with in-office treatments.
At Restored Wellness, we’ll assess your skin health, goals, and sensitivities to choose a personalized, step-by-step skincare plan that helps you achieve youthful, glowing results.

Regular, repeated application of this medication to the upper eyelid lash line promotes eyelash growth. The medication works to create more hair follicles during the hair-growing cycle and increases melanin production to make eyelashes darker.

These medications are not covered by insurance and are only available with out-of-pocket pricing.
We prescribe bimatoprost, also known as generic Latisse®, for eyelash growth. It’s clinically proven and currently the only FDA-approved product for eyelash growth.
While Bimatoprost (generic Latisse®) is generally considered a safe medication, it may not be a good fit for certain individuals. It is not a fit for patients with glaucoma, elevated intraocular pressure, macular edema, uveitis or iritis, and recent eye surgery or trauma in the last 3 months. Additionally, patients who are pregnant, planning to get pregnant in the next year, or breastfeeding will not be a fit for this medication at this time.
This medication may not be appropriate for those with allergies to the active ingredient, bimatoprost, and inactive ingredients of benzalkonium chloride, sodium chloride, sodium phosphate dibasic heptahydrate, citric acid monohydrate, hydrochloric acid, or sodium hydroxide.
Eyelash growth serum is a prescription medication that works to create more hair follicles during the hair-growing cycle and increases melanin production to make eyelashes darker. Eyelash extensions are a cosmetic enhancement in which fibers are glued onto your natural lashes.
Bimatoprost (generic Latisse®) is FDA-approved for eyelash growth and is generally considered a safe medication. A licensed medical provider will review your health information before prescribing generic Latisse® to ensure it is medically appropriate for you.
Important Safety Information: Latisse is an FDA-approved treatment to grow eyelashes for people with inadequate lashes. If you use prescription products for eye pressure problems, or have had eye problems/surgery, consult your doctor before using. Latisse may cause eyelid skin darkening which may be reversible. The active ingredient in Latisse (bimatoprost) has caused darkening of the colored part of the eye (the iris) which is likely permanent. Remove contact lenses before applying Latisse and reinsert 15 minutes after applying. Apply only at base of upper lashes. Do not apply to lower lid. Hair may grow outside the treatment area if it comes into contact with Latisse. Common side effects include itchy and red eyes. Lashes gradually return to previous appearance if Latisse is discontinued. Do not use Latisse if you are allergic to one of its ingredients.
Learn more about Latisse, including important safety information, here.
- If you have eyelid eczema, you may experience some worsening of symptoms.
- There is a possibility of eyelid skin darkening, which is usually reversible when treatment is stopped.
- There is a potential for discoloration of soft contact lenses, which can be avoided if you remove contact lenses before application and wait at least 15 minutes after application to reinsert them.
- Conjunctival hyperemia (prominent blood vessels in your eyes), blepharitis (eyelid infection), itching sensations in the eyes and/or eye redness may be side effects.
- Increased iris pigmentation (brown darkening of the colored part of the eye), which may be permanent, has occurred when bimatoprost was administered directly into the eye. Therefore, it is important to apply as directed (i.e. with the applicator at the base of the eyelids and NOT directly into the eye) so less medication makes its way into your eye.
- Be careful not to repeatedly touch areas of skin outside of the treatment areas, as this may cause hair growth in those areas. Blotting away any excess liquid with a clean tissue should help prevent this from occurring.
- There is a rare chance of periorbital fat atrophy (deepening of the eyelid sulcus resulting in a hollowing-out appearance of the eyelids) that may be permanent. Patients should discontinue use if they start to see this effect.
It can take 2-3 months to begin to see improvement and up to 4 months to see full results.
